About Saoura

A practice built on
professional insight,
personal transformation
and a deep respect
for what people
carry quietly.

The story

For twenty years, more was the only language available.

More hours. More output. More holding it all together. The legal profession rewards that fluency, and for a long time, it rewarded mine. But beneath the capability, something quieter was running on empty — a nervous system that had been doing too much, for too long, without the language to name it.

What changed everything was raising a neurodivergent family. The work of attuning to my children — really attuning, beneath the noise — taught me to listen differently. Not to what was being said, but to what the body was carrying. To regulation, not as a productivity hack, but as a practice. As coming home.

What began as personal transformation slowly became professional work supporting others through the same kind of patterns I had once lived inside myself.

Saoura is what came next.

A practice shaped for people who have spent a long time holding things together.

For the slow work of regulation, reconnection and returning to yourself.

For workplaces beginning to understand the human cost of sustained pressure.

A safe and unhurried place to start.

What I bring

Three threads, one practice.

01

Legal practice

Twenty-plus years as a practising lawyer. I know the particular cost of high-stakes work — the way the body holds it long after the matter is closed.

02

Lived experience

A mother of three, raising a neurodivergent family. The daily work of attunement — to small bodies, big feelings, and the systems beneath both.

03

Wellness training

Deep training in kinesiology and mind-body therapy. The somatic literacy that turned lived experience into a practice I could offer others.

“Saoura is for the people who have spent years performing capability while quietly running on empty.”
A different kind of wellbeing

Five things this practice holds.

Grounded and practical

This work brings together nervous system support, mind–body awareness and practical insight in a way that feels accessible, steady and human.

Designed to work alongside life

Sessions can sit alongside medical care, psychology or other supports, while offering space to understand what the body may still be carrying beneath ongoing stress or overwhelm.

Regulation as a way of living

Rather than striving for constant optimisation, this work supports greater steadiness, clarity and the ability to return to yourself over time.

Warm, thoughtful and deeply human

Whether working with individuals, families or professional teams, the approach remains relational, compassionate and grounded in real life.

Slow enough to listen properly

Saoura values depth over noise, creating space for meaningful and sustainable change rather than quick fixes or passing trends.
